PTSE® 12/36 – pharma extruder for APIs and more
Intended use
The Pharma Twin Screw Extruder PTSE® 12/36 is used for early development and preparation of samples for clinical studies. As only small batch sizes are needed for the tests, the pharma extruder is well suited for expensive active pharmaceutical substances (APIs).

Using the GMP qualifiable scale-up extruder you will profit from small batch sizes. You will waste less material and thus save money, particularly when running a test with ex-pensive materials such as APIs.
Moreover, you can reach and clean all components which have contact with the used material easily having a clam shell barrel, removable liners, segmented screws and surfaces made of smooth steel. All material certificates of these components are rec-orded in a list.
